“It would be impossible to accomplish our mission without our loyal friends who care.”

Letter from Board
Welcome to Ascension Place and St. Anne’s Place!

As the year begins to wind down, we find ourselves very busy at Ascension Place and St. Anne’s Place. The children living at St. Anne’s Place and many women living at both organizations have gone back to school.  We recently had a fundraising walk/run to collect new shoes for the children going back to school. We also celebrated the opening of our new tutoring lab, pantry and bathroom at St. Anne’s Place.  Additionally, we are planning for the upcoming holiday season, when the spirit of giving is so prevalent. Thanks to generous community members who donate and volunteer, our clients are fortunate to receive holiday gifts.

We rely heavily on the generosity of others in our community to help us meet the needs of the many women and children we serve. We are thankful to every church, business, foundation and concerned community member who helps to support our programs by making financial gifts, donating much needed items or volunteering their time. It would be impossible to accomplish our mission without our loyal friends who care.

There are so many ways to stay involved, especially as the holiday season approaches.

  • St. Anne’s Place Holiday Adopt-A-Family program pairs generous donors with former residents of St. Anne’s Place.

  • Organize a donation drive in your church, school, or work to collect much needed new gifts for the women and children living at Ascension Place and St. Anne’s Place this holiday season.

  • Volunteer to help gift wrap presents for the residents of Ascension Place and St. Anne’s Place before the holidays.

Visit the Get Involved section of our website for more information.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,
Melissa Froehle, Board Chair
